Cedar View is quietly located on the hillside at Craigston just a short walk from the main road from Hillsborough to Bogles. (See location 1 on the map of Carriacou. ) Completed in early 2012 it enjoys spectacular views over the Hillsborough Bay to the out islands. It has been designed to take advantage of the natural breezes but also provides A/C units in the bedrooms for those occasionally still nights.
Accommodation:
The house comprises some 4000 sq ft and has 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, an open plan kitchen/living/dining area, a large wrap around veranda with open and covered seating and dining areas. The pool is just a step away from the master bedroom and takes advantage of the fabulous view. There are covered and open areas around the pool to suit everybody.

We stayed 6 nights at Cedar View in January 2015. It definitely is a spectacular view from any of the many tiled decks. We were so impressed by the layout and facilities, so much more than any of the photos on the website can portray. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk from the road to town where the local bus will stop, near the Island villas rental office if you need anything, but also situated in a quiet and private area. No roosters or traffic noise, safe and relaxing. We chose to walk to town and take the bus back. A ten minute stroll takes you to a lovely sandy beach that had one or two others on some days or it may be just waiting for you alone. High Speed WiFi worked very well. Craigston is definitely an excellent area to find a home to rent.
