Rent equipment or hire a guide from town centre locations.
Swimming & Snorkeling
Good swimming from the many on-island and out-island beaches accessible by walking, by jeep or by small boat excursion. Bring your own snorkelling gear or rent from one of the dive shops. Beaches vary from the whitest coral sand through golden brown to shining clean volcanic black.
Bring your own gear and you will stand a good chance of a catch from any of the beaches or rocky points. We can arrange for local fishermen to take you out trolling for something bigger.
We can arrange guided taxi tours around the island or take a deep breath and try out the dollar bus services to all parts of the island.
All the islands of the Grenadines are available by day-tour charter plane for parties of 6 – 9. Otherwise it is possible to make a scheduled day visit to Grenada or Union.
Our staff will tell you where the party is being held! Expect a local disco with some hot music. Occasionally you will be lucky to hear live performances of steel bands, calypso singers, Big Drum and Quadrille.
Carnival is held in late February. Maroon Music & String band Festival is last weekend in April. Regatta is usually the last weekend of July. Parang (folk music/calypso) is mid December.
